People are putting V8s and all kinds of other engines in these This RARE van has potentially been sitting at or near a barn since 1973. It has a 1973 plate on it. There is no key and the tires are falling off the rims. The engine turns smoothly by hand, but also seems to have pretty good compression and it still has a battery in it with screw on cell tops where you add water. The side door opened when I bought it but not since then, a year ago. It has a FLOOR manual transmission that feels okay and it might even still have a brake pedal? The rest of the door open and close and the floors are not terribly bad either. Pretty good actually for a 63 year old vehicle, especially. The engine compartment looks complete and the under carriage looks salvageable also. The front bumper is bad and it will need pretty extensive work around the top of the rear roof area above and behind the top of those doors. There are many wheel and tire possibilities. Google wheel fitment for Corvair vans.$3000 is NOT negotiable!!!! I will keep it if everyone is asleep and get it running myself. I am only selling it because I have too many projects. Please let's not waste OUR time with thoughts of lower offers now or later
