I’m looking to rehome my black cat, Vader, to someone who understands that not every cat is a lap cat—and that’s okay.
Vader is more of an independent companion. He’s the kind of cat that’s happy just sharing your space. He isn’t very affectionate right away and will usually keep his distance unless you happen to have food. Once he gets comfortable and learns to trust you, he does become sweeter, but he’s always going to be more of a “roommate” cat than a “clingy” cat.
He would do best with someone who appreciates cats for their unique personalities and doesn’t expect constant attention or cuddles. He isn’t aggressive—just reserved and likes things on his own terms.
